A small pavilion on stilts on the banks of a river houses a figure sitting at a table. A visitor riding a boateems to join him. On the right a rock and a tree overlooks the small hermitage with its beautiful foliage.
Taiwanese painter and calligrapher born in 1924 in Changsha, Hunan province, China. Disciple of Zhang Daqian and Da Feng Tang.
Many exhibitions were dedicated to him in Taiwan, Japan and the United States where he lived an important part of his life.
His works are kept in the collections of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and the National Museum of History of Taiwan.
